Chicago Sunset Cruise
Chicago Sunset Cruise
Chicago shows off at sunset, and this cruise is the best seat in the city to watch it happen. It's light on narration but heavy on impact—you won't forget that golden hour skyline anytime soon.
Wendella's Chicago Sunset Cruise is one of the city’s most scenic evening rituals. You’ll start on the Chicago River, near the Wrigley Building and Michigan Avenue, before gliding through the Chicago Lock onto Lake Michigan. From there, it’s nothing but spectacular views. If you've only done a cruise by day, you need to do one when the city is twinkling, too.
It’s not a guided boat tour, but you can always ask the crew questions if you’re curious. This is your time to kick back, take in the sights, and enjoy the ride. And yes, there’s a full-service bar on board, so you can sip wine, beer, or a cocktail as the city lights come alive. Most folks hang out on the upper deck, but if you need a break from the breeze, head down to the lower deck, where you'll find comfy, climate-controlled seating and restrooms.
This is your chance to take a romantic spin around Chicago or impress some out-of-towners. Our sunset boat cruise is a crowd-pleaser.
We have a selection of local favorites available for purchase, including snacks, candy, soft drinks, beer, wine, hard seltzer, cider, and cocktails. Find our full Menu here.
Our boats are wheelchair accessible from our West Dock, with a ramp to the upper deck. All of our boats have ADA-compliant restrooms. Some of our boats have an elevator from the upper to lower deck, where the bar and restrooms are located. Please call us in advance on 312-337-1446 so we can assist.
